Verify a GLA certificate
Every item we certify is registered in the GLA database. Enter the certification number from the label — or scan the QR code on the holder — to confirm the grade and details.
This lookup reads the live GLA registry from Supabase once configured in assets/js/config.js. Until then it runs against a bundled sample set.
Where to find your certification number
Each GLA holder carries the same four pieces of information, in the same places.
Label description
The item name, set, year and any variant, printed across the top of the label.
Grade & designation
The numeric grade with its designation — for example 10 Gem Mint — on the right.
Certification number
A unique number in the format GLA0000000, never reissued to another item.
QR code
Scanning it opens this page with the record already loaded — no typing required.
A number that does not verify is a warning sign
Counterfeit holders exist for every major grading company. The certification number is the check that cannot be faked — because it either exists in our database or it does not.
Before you buy, check that
- The certification number verifies on this page
- The item shown in the record matches what you are looking at
- The grade on the label matches the grade in the record
- The holder seal is intact, with no cuts, glue or reheating marks
- The label is printed cleanly, not a photocopy or inkjet reproduction
